Timothy D. Rutherford

Timothy D. Rutherford, 37, died August 20, 2022, in a car accident outside of Buhler.  He was born September 26, 1984, in Wichita, the son of Dan and Sharon Healy Rutherford.
On June 9, 2018, he married Katie Shain in Leon, KS.
 
Tim worked as an assembler for Stanley Black and Decker, Hesston, was a member of Knights of Columbus, enjoyed playing softball, loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and his favorite thing was playing with his son Easton.  He was the most kind, caring person who would have given the shirt off his back for anyone.  He did not know a stranger.  He was truly loved by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; his son, Easton Rutherford, of the home;  his parents, Goddard; siblings, Beth Walton, Edmond, OK, Natalie (Tom) Roller, Goddard, Kelly (Mike) Burleson, North Carolina, John (Neysa) Rutherford, Wichita, and Joe Rutherford Goddard; mother and father in law, Robert and Janice Shain, sibling in laws, Chris (Nikki) Shain, Cody (Jessica) Shain, and Kari (Darrin) Banning, all of Buhler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by baby Rutherford and grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, August 26, 2022, at Inman Funeral Home, with the family present from 5-6.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Buhler MB Church, with burial to follow at Buhler East Cemetery.  The funeral service will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook Page.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Easton Rutherford Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.  To leave a message for the family, visit:  www.inmanfh.com.
