Matthew Lloyd Talley, Sr.

Matthew L. Talley, Sr., 49, passed away July 2, 2024, on his porch surrounded by his family. He was born April 30, 1975, in Hiawatha, Kansas, the son of Gerald and Linda Schneider Talley. Matthew was a graduate of Sabetha High School. He served in the United State Marine Corp for four years after high school. He enjoyed going to Waynoka, camping, fishing, working on cars, and Star Trek. He married Jennifer Thompson on October 15, 2021, in Hutchinson, KS. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter; Madisen Talley and boyfriend Ty, Hutchinson; son, Matthew Talley, Jr, Inman; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Mike Evans, McPherson, brother, Danny Talley, Fairview; sister-in-law, Kim Schuetz, Fairview; a niece, Michelle (LA), 4 nephews, Jesse, Austyn, Brennan (Katie), and Zach, and a great nephew, Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
