Maddison Nicole Ferran

Maddison Nicole Ferran, passed away May 7th, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita KS, surrounded by her family and those that loved her.  She was born June 26, 2015, in McPherson, the daughter of Brian and Erica Ferran.

Maddison, also known as “Maddiy Mouse” or “Princess Mouse” had attended Inman Elementary School. Maddison was actively involved in Girl Scout Troop #40609 and Zoar MB Church.  Maddison was runner up for Little Miss Wheelchair of Kansas in 2023-2024. She enjoyed watching and listening to the movies Frozen 2, Moana, and Encanto, her sister Alanna, and loved swimming.  Purple was her favorite color.

Maddison was an expressive and happy child, often being told that her laugh and smile were contagious. The love she gives from just herself and family to new people that come in contact with her such as her nurse Alyssa Kosjer of Wichita.

 She leaves behind her parents, her sister, Alanna, and 2 brothers, Matthew and Landan, all of the home in Inman; maternal grandfather, David Saunders, maternal grandmother, Abbey Saunders, 3 uncles, Eric Saunders, Bentley Saunders, and Corbin Schmidt, all of McPherson; an aunt, Amber Ferran;  Paternal grandparents, Katherine and Mike Konycki, Pennsylvania; maternal great grandparents, David and Donna Saunders, Inman, Patty Paules, Pennsylvania; cousins, Ember and Tristin DeWitt, Pennsylvania; the extended Boesker and Williams families, and other extended family.

Preceding her in death are an uncle, Jarrome Saunders; 2 aunts, Paige and Mercedes Saunders; great grandfather, Phillip Alderman; and other extended family.  

Cremation has taken place.
