Douglas Keith Becker, 73, passed away peacefully at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born July 19, 1952, in Hutchinson, the son of Galen Becker and Leanna Baker. He was a 1971 graduate of Hutchinson High School.

He had worked many years at Dillons and retired from the Hutchinson News. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

Doug enjoyed woodworking and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed family gatherings. He was a very kind-hearted man who loved helping others in any way he could. He would go out of his way to make someone’s day brighter.

Doug is survived by 2 sisters, Cheryl Treinen and Kathie (Larry) Wittorff; a brother, Brad (Jane Ann) Becker; a stepsister, Margie Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie Goering, stepbrother, David Lohrentz; and 2 brothers -in-law.

Visitation will be held from 4-6PM Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Inman Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Buhler East Cemetery.
