Dave Ray Schoonover

April 11, 1962-August 17, 2022, Dave Ray Schoonover passed away due to injuries he sustained in a catastrophic motorcycle accident while on the way to Mobile, AL for the Legacy Run. Dave was a long-time member of the American Legion, after serving in the US Army as a Transport Driver in Germany from 1980-1984.  He was a staunch supporter of American Legion programs, especially the Legacy Runs both nationally and in Kansas. Dave was a wildlife lover and served on the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Reserve Board of Directors for over 20 years. Dave leaves behind his wife Millie Schoonover, and many family and friends.
