Carlotta Ann Malone

Carlotta Ann Malone (Lewis), 66, passed away April 9, 2025 at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born on December 7, 1958 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Clarence Raymond and Dora Elizabeth (McNabb) Lewis. Carlotta graduated Tulsa High School in 1978. In 1980, she married Anthony Malone and moved to San Jose, CA where they had 2 children, Dusty and Elizabeth. In 1996, after separating from Anthony, she returned to the Midwest and joined her sister, Barbara, in Inman, KS.

By trade, Carlotta was a cook. She enjoyed the atmosphere of a busy kitchen and worked in several restaurants as well as retail establishments throughout the years. She enjoyed crafts such as crochet, sewing, and diamond painting, but was never happier than when working in a garden.

Carlotta is survived by 2 daughters, and 7 grandchildren: Dusty (& Cary) Christopherson of Anthem, AZ and their children, Cameron, Christopher, Carter, and Carly; and Elizabeth (& Adam) Krueger of Burlington, KS and their children, Everett, Callen, and Asa; as well as her siblings, Virginia Trulson, Patricia O’Dell, Barbara Allan, Raymond Lewis, Donald Lewis, and Kenneth Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Brenda Morgon, Linda Pardue, and Mary Lorene Culver.

Per Carlotta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 6pm in the Pleasant View Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made out to the Inman Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses or to the Inman Food Bank, both sent in care of the funeral home.
