Bobby Jean Jost

Bobby Jean Jost, 75, passed away April 7, 2025, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born on February 13, 1950, in Cedarvale, KS, the daughter of Marion Hahn and Opal Elaine Wood Wert. She married Dean Jost on March 12, 1975, in Marion, KS.

During their lives together, Bobby and Dean had lived in Whitewater, the Topeka area, Minneapolis, KS and McPherson before moving to Inman for the last year. Bobby worked at K-Mart stocking and later at Walmart as the support manager in the pharmacy department, both in Topeka. She was a member of the Community Bible Church, Minneapolis, KS. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband; children, Montie and wife Yvonne Church, Trimble, MO, Shannon Church, Wichita, Brandon and wife Jasmine Church, Cordova, Tenn, and Chad Jost, Minneapolis, KS; siblings, Marvin Wert, Canton, Faye Peters, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Theresa Bohannon, Wichita; grandchildren, Aaron, Quinton, and Cameron Church, Shanda Brown, Kristen Church, Darla Merriman, Courtnee Trostle, Ma Kayla Jost, and Lynzee Jost; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter in law, and 2 great grandsons.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Community Bible Church, Minneapolis.
