Barbara Maxine Stewart

Barbara M. Stewart, 90, passed away June 11, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born September 2, 1934, in Wichita, the daughter of Elmer and Daisy Meechum Pedigo. A graduate of a Wichita high school, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie (Curtis) Woods, South Hutchinson; a son, Ralph (Judy) Stewart, Arlington, KS; siblings, Donald Pedigo, Wichita and Jason Pedigo, California; 7 grandchildren, Misty Reimer, Brandie McAninch, Jason Stewart, Willie Henderson, Tara Stewart, Jeremy Stewart, and Justin Stewart; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Stewart and 5 siblings.
